My dad had the idea to take E & G up for a night in the camper to
Couer D'Alene lake. My parents live only about 25 miles from
Plummer, Idaho, which is at the southern end of the lake and therefore not too far away from home base.
My dad has been working on this old camper for some time now. He had the cushions reupholstered and I made new curtains for it. It's been scrubbed and rewired and recently he deemed it worthy of the
grand kids.
Later in the evening my Mom and I drove up to join them for hot dog roasting and to help get the kids all settled in for the night. We're kind of wimps about camping and both of us were happy to be home in our own beds.
But not before eating dogs and
s'mores, and walking down to the lake.
