I have several post lined up in my head all ready to go and yet I'm posting about a random sewing project I did today. Go figure. My mom has been begging me to blog (and mind you the only blogging that counts to a grandma are entries about her grand kids) and we've have a bevy of blogable events lately. But I feel like sharing photos of my flower crayon holder thingy. So there. It's my blog and I can do what I want.
I promise I will get to 4th of July, Eliot's & Tim's birthdays. For now I must share this great little project Grace and I cooked up today from Sandi Henderson's book which is a must for those fending off the urge to buy more yards of fabric when several tubs of scraps beckon from the hall closet.
This book is filled with tons of cute stash busting projects and what I love is you can use all of those cherished bits that you can't bear to throw away to make really cute and practical items for the kids and the home.
