First Day of School 2011

They were up and ready to go early this morning. They dressed, ate, and had their backpacks on twenty mintues before our early departure time.

I  woke and realized that I did not have the first day jitters I had last year, rather we all had last year. Everything was new and Eliot was so nervous. Today there was none of that, just good old fashioned excitement and anticipation.

I might have found myself a bit tearful about dropping off TWO of my babies at school but I still have this one to keep me company. Who can resist her chubby baby body, her "pink beer", and those boots! I vow now that the others are in school I will find the time to buy my baby new boots.

Grace and her teacher who has gained rockstar status. We've been talking about her for weeks.

After getting Eliot settled in with Mrs. Sawyer I checked back on my girl. I got this photo before the other three girls in her class had arrived. It struck me how blessed she is to be surrounded by a bunch of smartly dressed little men.

Not bad for a first day I say!
