Eliot took this one of Grace and Sydney on her quilt. I've made three quilts in six months and therefore I'm ready for a break from quilting. I'm certainly glad I had those birthdays as deadlines otherwise who knows how long it would have taken me.
Here it is. You can see there's less than half of the binding to sew on and so after I snapped this picture I sat down at the table and finished it off.
Grace's big present was a new doll whom we've named "Emily", a wardrobe of clothing for Emily, and a big pink box to put it all in.
There's that rainbow cake.
